We've been going out for Mexican food on taco Tuesday with our friends since before covid. We've been all over Spokane, we decided to try LaPlaza de Mexico and we are glad we did. This will be our new go to place. It's clean, the staff is friendly and the food is some of the best we've had so far. The refried beans are some of the best I've had, they taste fresh and homemade not out of a can like you get at most places. See you next Tuesday.

Great staff, great food! Table salsa has a bite! Nice! Mole enchiladas were smoky and delicious and filled with good stuff Chile verde was juicy and tender Their pinto beans are minimalist charro beans, perfectly cooked, nice hint of ham hock

I didn't even finish my meal before I started writing this. I've eaten here irl before and it was good so I ordered from doordash. I got a singular pork taco as a side. I thought it would be a corn tortilla street taco style, but it was a hard shell taco. I'd never typically order that but this was the best damn hard shell taco I've ever had. SUBLIME.
Friendly fast service and tasty food!! A bit off the freeway but worth a stop! Our waitress was super busy but she was obviously a pro! If you are passing through Spokane valley check it out

Large and delicious (by Spokane standard) portions. But if you have ever had 'real' Mexican food ... Two observations from our recent visit: If you order a dinner salad, it will come dry with no dressing. Dressing costs an extra dollar. I asked why dressing costs a dollar when every other place includes it. "We have to buy the dressing and it costs $11 per gallon, so we charge extra." Seriously? They wipe down the tables between guests ... with a wet rag that smelled like it was from the day before and could be smelled from across the room.
